We spent a long weekend in Queenstown, New Zealand, which is only a 3-hour flight from Sydney. Here is a collection of photos from the trip. It had been over a year since we’d seen snow! Nicola was ecstatic. I must admit that our balmy Sydney climate has made us all big ol’ softies when it comes to the colder temps, though. We were all frozen solid most of the trip. And I think it was only in the upper 30s/low 40s. What has become of us?!
Anyway, below is a mashup of Queenstown, Te Anau and Milford Sound. The weather changed quickly, which I’m sure you’ll notice as you scroll through. All in all, it was incredible and I can’t wait to explore the North Island in July before we head back to Boulder for good!
